Lodestar Above: The Indian Ocean - Drawing a Fine White Line

With the closest point of land 1700 kilometres away, we pushed onward through the wet and wild Indian Ocean. Surfing down 5 metre waves at speeds up to 34 km/h, the 10-day passage from Cocos Atoll to the island of Rodrigues was a test of endurance against the elements; by day sweating under a blistering hot sun, and by night, fending off torrential rain and errant flying fish!

Clip on your harness and take the helm - it's your watch and I feel a squall coming on!
